Henry Bowers-Broadbent

Henry Bowers-Broadbent, also known by the stage name Harry Broadbent is a multi-instrumentalist and composer/producer from London. He first came to prominence playing Hammond organ for British psychedelic rock band Kula Shaker. Henry is currently the Musical Director for Japanese artist Hikaru Utada, and has toured and recorded as a performing artist with Amy MacDonald, Mr Children (Misu Chiru), Gary Barlow, Jack Savoretti, Shane Filan, Robert Francis, Gabriella Cilmi and Liam Bailey amongst others, also acting as MD for Savoretti and Cilmi. Primarily a Keyboard player, Henry also regularly performs on guitars, mandolin, percussion, and vibraphone.

Henry studied composition with film composer John Ashton Thomas at Trinity Conservatoire in London. He released his first solo album Easy Life in 2014 and has  written hundreds of pieces of production library music for various labels including Warner Chappell, Sony, APM and Soho. From 2004 - 2006 he was composer in residence for Stantonbury campus music service, writing for their various youth ensembles. In 2011 he began a relationship with London based art label Trestle Records, making instrumental music, and has enjoyed many projects with them. His latest work, Panacea was released in July 2020.
